Humphrey tried to punch the ball out of Smith-Schuster’s grasp rather than just wrapping him up with a form tackle, and safety DeShon Elliott had a message for him. V: Marlon owns.

It feels like there’s a lot more really awful teams this year. There’s 4 winless teams and 4 one win teams after 5 weeks.

What would the draft position tie breaker be between two 0-15-1 teams that tied 0-0 in their matchup? I’m still expecting the Dolphins to botch their tank due to AFC East clownball, though. A couple of Rosen’s dimes accidentally get caught and they beat Washington or the Bengals. And also somehow beat the Pats so they can enrage everyone, even us Pats homers, with a terrible underdog narrative.

Docjowles posted:What would the draft position tie breaker be between two 0-15-1 teams that tied 0-0 in their matchup? There's a giant list of tiebreakers that the NFL has based on statistical performance. If all those fail, a literal coin flip. I mean, there's no difference per se between two teams who go 8-8 and 1-1 head to head and two teams who go 0-15-1 and tied against each other in terms of overall and head to head record, so other tiebreaking procedures are needed. iospace fucked around with this message at 18:27 on Oct 7, 2019 |

Jiminy Christmas! Shoes! posted:There are rookie/backup qb battles I think just about every season, it's just that usually those players are terrible. Yeah that's what I mean. Kyle Allen is a 2018 UDFA, Gardner Minshew is a sixth round draft pick from this year. Allen is undefeated and Minshew just threw for 374 yards in a loss. Both of them have quarterback ratings above 105 for the season, which is good for 4th and 6th in the NFL among QBs with significant attempts. That's ahead of such luminaries as uhhh... Tom Brady? Matt Ryan? Carson Wentz? Lamar Jackson? Phillip Rivers? AARON RODGERS??? The chances of that all happening are so incredibly slim

The 49ers, fresh off the bright idea to use ticket scanners that don't loving work for game one (and ditching ones that worked for years), have made it so screenshots don't work on tickets. And no paper tickets. So now you'll have thousands of people trying to pull up their ticket on their phone at the same place at the same time. there are gonna be 20 people in the stadium at kickoff tonight (half the normal amount]

The season tickets are accessible through the app and via using a ticketed credential thing that (surprise) doesn't loving work. You're operating under the assumption that the 49ers are a well-run organization and not the worst instincts of nfl owners colliding headlong into the worst instincts of silicon valley shitheads

I get that the 49ers ownership sucks but you really need to open your eyes. The monopoly set up of the NFL combined with the "self made billionaire" mindset of every owner, especially the ones that inherited everything, makes absolute incompetence the norm for these things. The only real outlier I can think of is Dan Snyder. That dude is next level.

Jets tickets are accessible through the team app and it integrates with Apple Wallet. They don’t take any other form of hard tickets. Works well imo.
