Regnevelc posted:Don Brown was masterful against Iowa on blitzes, but I was shocked at how dominant the D-Line looked vs that O-Line. They've been awful this year, although I think that was a byproduct of Dwumfour getting back into the lineup and getting penetration from the middle of the line and allowed Kemp to support rather than be the main guy. Iowa has two really good tackles when Jackson is healthy but the interior is pretty iffy, especially once the guy who had been their best guard got hurt. The guards right now are usually two seniors who have never been more than okayish backups and the center is a redshirt freshman who spent most of last year playing DT. He's going to be really good eventually but he still does freshman poo poo and needs to get bigger. I would love to see them start trying to work in more young guys at guard rather than the Paulsens or Banwart. Maybe they'll get lucky and find a spark like we did with Bulaga and Reiff back in the day, and it's a nice way to get the potential replacements for Wirfs and Jackson some experience. I feel bad for Wirfs who I think is probably our best offensive player since Gallery Declan MacManus posted:1. they self-reported The lesson as always is never ever cooperate with the NCAAs bullshit investigation MourningView fucked around with this message at 18:52 on Oct 10, 2019 |

On the plus side they're honoring the 09 Orange Bowl team on Saturday so Ricky Stanzi will be in the house. He's never lost to Penn State before so I don't see why he should start now.

I feel like something like this happens every year: https://twitter.com/BKSportsTalk/status/1182330397004369923 Mizzou is good, look at all of these neutral things that say they are! Then Missouri loses their next 3 games by 25. Admittedly that would take some work this year with their schedule.

It’s pretty incredible they play 4 games against the bottom 10 (depending on where New Mexico finishes) plus two FCS. Rutgers might be the third best team on the schedule.
