This looks closer to the 2D Zelda perspective than isometric, and I can see that being a major headache trying to figure out height.

Fire Emblem Awakening and Fates have a feature called “Pair Up”, which glues two units together and gives stat boosts to whoever’s actually fighting out of the two of them.

The katana, or to be proper Killing Edge, is a Fire Emblem weapon.
