The next upgrade to Haste should be going through a portal to godland, and shooting out of it. And yeah, I'm also expecting the Demon Lord to say something like "Mwahaha, your precious 'ultimate armour' was a trap made by me! Now it will crush y- wait, you're not wearing it? But it's the ultimate armour!"

It's... fun? The hero's a dickwad so if you don't think the schtick is gunny then it won't go very far. I enjoy the Ristarte faces and her voice shifts, and sometimes the situations are comedic.

I guess this show popped up on my Hulu feed since my kids and I watched One Punch Man. I had no idea if there was a manga or whatever so I prewatched the first episode and thought "oh this one will be fun to watch with them and doesn't seem too bad for 10 and 12 year old boys". All was fine until episode 8 and that was....awkward. For the first time in my adult life I was glad something was censored. I do like the show though. The premise hasn't quite worn out yet and Ristarte definitely lightens up the main character who was mostly one note until the last few episodes.

Yeah, this show in the first few episodes was on my aoty list but as the gore stacked up and then there was the most terrifying version of Artemis I had ever seen it dropped off. I still enjoy it but probably will not watch it again after it finishes.

Which was a bridge too far for me... but yeah, it mostly dealt with that revelation in a decent way that made his a-hole behavior work out ok. A S2 with SS Rank Land would be fun but just more of the same. Eululu and Mash never really did much fighting which was disappointing.

As long as they made it an anthology series, they could probably do a few more seasons. The limitation being that the season has to fit with the title of the show. Like, a season could follow a D class world in need of a hero but the hero is cautious because they suck, unlike Seiya who is cautious despite being OP. It would take a lot of effort to actually come up with other seasons that don't suck though.

Ending stuff: I think the twist here is pretty clever and I even think the "oh suddenly we're gonna be really gross" stuff works, like the show's gag is that Seiya is actually appropriately cautious and there was tons of grim stuff beforehand. I do think they should have been done a better job with the reveal, like just showing un-cautious Seiya would have been funnier and had way more impact than a big blunt infodump. This is still a solid show though.
