It seems like they didn't adjust the scoring when they doubled the player count for servers so matches end very quickly.

Also this was pointed out before the game's release https://steamcommunity.com/app/2446550/discussions/0/4347732779392154378/. This might have been fixed though.

looks really messy visually. Which is not something you want for an RTS.
