The reviewers are already calling it the best Rpg of all time, a masterpiece and so on. Day one purchase for sure.

Noita is doing pretty well; it's on the list of top selling games on Steam, and I am seeing a ton of twitch streamers play it too. Not too shabby for an Early Access title. Hempuli, the goon who is one of the devs, is on a roll after Baba Is You and Noita. :allears:

The Curious Expedition is a nice 19th century explorer game, and the sequel Curious Expedition 2 is now in the Steam game festival demo event, free to try for a few days. Go check it out.

I've played the original and can recommend it.

The Curious Expedition is a neat little game. I'm sure it's not for everyone's tastes, but I kinda like it. I enjoy the fact you can play a quick round of exploration in between doing other things and the game generates a small emergent story filled with insanity and cannibalism, forbidden cults or other shenanigans.

No opinion yet on the demo for the sequel, sorry. I've been playing other games.

Anyone going to be playing the Sentinels of Freedom game when it releases later today?

Superheroes meet X-com seems to be definitely this board's thing.

I might check that one out, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Old World seems like it might have interesting aspects to it. 4X - strategy in some ways similar to Civilization games combined with building a dynasty like in Crusader Kings 2. It's in early access on Epic Games store, due to be released later this year. Note to self; keeping an eye on this one.

Oh look, somebody just made a thread for the Old World:

Expeditions: Rome has a nice demo on Steam. It's a role playing game taking place in the late Roman Republic. I have heard good things of the earlier games in the series, Expeditions: -Viking and -Conquistador. This one seems like a cool game if you want to lead praetorian legionnaires in turn-based tactical combat. Go check it out. :hist101: :hist101: :hist101: :hist101: :hist101:
