Excited to watch Vikings v Lions. Lions have blitzed around 9% of snaps so far this season, and are heavily reliant on their DEs to get pressure. Arif Hassan had an excellent article breaking down there D, which came down to them dropping 7 in coverage and forcing teams to take low percentage shots down field while blanketing the under routes. Slay and Melvin have been playing very good so far this year, and the one thing to watch will be to see if Slay will shadow Diggs as he did last year, or if they will rotate coverage between him and Thielen. The game will come down to being the opposite of the Eagles from the Vikings O perspective, a team with a average pass rush but good coverage compared to the Eagles which had a good pass rush, but bad coverage. As far as Lions O, I haven't seen any good break down of their team so far, but Stafford has been doing very well, but has been sacked 10 times in the last 2 meeting with MIN. That will probably be the key to slowing them down. In their passing attack I expect Golladay to be a feature as the Vikings Safeties have been playing excellent, while the CBs have been underwhelming.
