Terminator: Genisys

That movie is uniquely terrible on a casting, visual, script, direction, storytelling, and performance level rarely seen in movies.

The Counselor (2013) was really, really loving bad. I say that as a Ridley Scott fan.

It is just so lifelessly miserable with a nihilist ending that does not land, even though you understand its message. I guess it is McCarthy’s fault.

Man I loved Alien Covenant, even more than Prometheus which I thought was very flawed. There's a nastiness and pessimism to Ridley Scott's sci-fi that I don't think many contemporary directors really have anymore.

I really liked how the Engineer (God) and overtly religious people (Shaw and Oram) suffered gruesome deaths from evolution. David winning at the end was ballsy too.
