The CG POV shots actually really nice. it's amazing how much a slightly more stylised look helps it all blend together, the colours are beautiful and they really captured something with the character designs. I’d love a Goodbye Eri adaption because it’s a story interested in the medium of films and an adaptation could do a lot with that. Though I do wonder if part of why it hit so hard for me is how you’re then able to read all those musings into the fairly different medium of the manga and if an adaptation would be able to nail that aspect.

So while we're all mostly hyped for A Couple of Clucking Chickens... I have zero doubt Goodbye, Eri will get a big screen adaptation eventually. The rest might be up in the air since CSM didn't quite make the impact MAPPA hoped for but Eri feels inevitable, especially if Look Back makes even a marginally good profit.
