Yeah the lore is for sure there (especially if you have high intellect/encyclopedia skills), but it’s not like you have to actually know any of it. The world-building in general is top loving notch.

But it is very much not a “rpg” in the traditional sense of dungeon crawling, with 8 million systems interacting in battle. It’s a point and click adventure game with dice rolls.

Played through some of fay 3 last night. The music in the abandoned fishing village is really pretty. Soundtrack in general is kind of understated but good.

Just stayed up till 4am beating the story. Game is really good outside a couple nitpicks.
