Okay I'm loving stupid, but I'm still trying to figure out how deferring is any different from before 2008. Pre-2008: Visiting team tosses coin, winner picks to go on offense or kick off electing for the ball in the 2nd half. Post-2008: Visiting team tosses coin, winner picks to go on offense, or kick off electing for the ball in the 2nd half. I'm missing something easy here plz help
