I do hope Iruma never becomes some sort of Shonen protagonist with his powerups. Sure his powers do improve and they exist in the plot to help his friends, but it feels way more thematically appropriate for a few of the people around him to become a metaphorical power house for bad guy beat downs while Iruma (and Clara) remain the adorable support roles.

I'm really enjoying how the show decides to drop an escalation to a cliffhanger, and then just resolves it in the first 60 seconds of the next episode. They really capture the spirit of the storytelling. Stressful situation? NOPE! Onward to the wholesome character moments...

I remember a bunch of chapters ago that the form of the familiar depends on your emotions when you summon it, so Kalego is always cute because that’s all Iruma will ever have for strong emotions. I really do want Kalego to succeed so that 30 seconds later in poofs Opera as an adorable chaos cat familiar and just tackles him.

The demon ranking system isn't making much sense now that we're getting further in the series. If I remember right most students graduate as a 4 after six years. The Class having to hit 4 at the end of their first year was a big thing after all, and they are protagonists. The 9's and 10's we know of are Delkira, Sullivan, Levi, and Beliard, and likely a few more of the thirteen crowns, like Ameri's father, might be 9's as well. But it's implied most of them are rank 8. Kalego, Balam, and Opera being 8's is apparently a big deal and if I remember right they are the only rank 8 at the school. So most of the teachers must be 6 or 7 and the support staff 5 or 6. This means that Ameri and soon, Iruma, will be outranking the majority of their teachers.

Moments i'm looking forward too, maybe not this arc, but ones that will happen at some dramatic moment Iruma summoning Kalego in anger for once, so he doesn't pop out fluffy. Iruma having Amelie drink his blood to supercharge her at a climax, probably while also confessing.
