Not that I'm going to say it, just checking that it's on the table.

I find it really sad that this is being trumpeted as some stunning piece of journalism. Yeah, compared to the normal level we get it's pretty great. But "you've given your opponents figures, where the gently caress are yours?" feels kind of like the bare minimum that an interviewer should be doing.

This is the most shambolic, literally incredible, effort to 'humanise' this utter waste of flesh. Try to make it through the full four minutes. It's so painful.

And keep a close watch for 'completely random BAME Tory person' just wandering by randomly. As you do.

The whole thing makes me seasick.

Also the camera work is really wobbly

Wasn't there an effortpost a while back about how bullshit broadband charges are? Like how all the infrastructure is government funded anyway, and that actual traffic doesnt make a drat bit of difference about how much it costs to maintain? May not have been UKMT. Or indeed may have been a horseradish-induced fever dream.

Do the Right Thing is a a panel show about uh...doing the right thing, and they get a pretty great selection of guests on. Thanks to whoever recommended The Constant. I'm feeling low and lazy today, and it's a great comfort. Cheery, interesting, varied, it's great. Favourite so far is the terrifying mystery of the epidemic of Windshield Pitting in 1950s seattle.

Where the gently caress is it implied that Fagin is a pedophile?

Also Dickens got called out for Referring to him as the Jew, went "oops my bad" and trimmed a load of the dodgy stuff out of later editions, and then made sure to write a bunch of Jewish characters shown in a positive light.

Thredd did gud :glomp:

What pisses me off about the Diane Abbott stuff is how it seems to work despite being so loving transparent.

Remember when Milliband did that interview where he went round and round saying "strikes are wrong at a time when negotiations are ongoing" and he looked like an utter maniac. It's a trick to get your soundbite into an interview no matter how they cut it. I've seen Osborn do the exact same thing, for some reason nobody bats an eyelid at that. David Davis didn't know the minimum wage, nobody cares. Rees-Mogg gave advice that would lead to people burning to death. That tory housing guy had a policy that equated to £500 of funding per house, nobody calls him out for being innumerate. Liz Truss....exists.
