Yes, but Temple is so weird this year. They beat Maryland and Memphis in close games, but they got smoked by Buffalo and SMU and waited until late to pull away from a not very good ECU team. So they're either going to demolish USF or struggle for some reason and win a close one.

He just posted saying he took a loan from a family friend he’s known since before his freshman year that he repaid in full last summer, gently caress the NCAA forever and ever.

He had a good chance to break the sack record, this sucks.

I'm with Spencer Hall, just play him, let the NCAA do their dumb investigation, and forfeit the games down the road if you need to. No one actually cares.

I’m a Buckeye fan and my first reaction was sit out the rest of the year, tell the NCAA to gently caress off and go be the #1 pick and make a boatload of money.

I mean I would do that if I were him even without the eligibility issue but it seems like he really wants to play.

It seems Ohio State is confident he will play again but now we have to wait for the NCAA to do its song and dance after the school reports its findings.

Komet

Will the NCAA do its song and dance quick enough to get him back for the Penn State game is my question. Missing Maryland and Rutgers isn't a factor in terms of winning those games, although he'll rack up a poo poo ton of sacks against those teams.

Feldman or one of the more normie NCAA reporters indicated that if he can prove he paid back the loan 1-2 games is probably all it’ll take. And with the ncaa having to publicly pretend that they care about players it’s something that I wouldn’t be shocked if they take it easy on him. You don’t ruin your good PR that guys like Rovell are up by publicly being harsh on what’s likely the best player in America.

Although it’s also the ncaa so gently caress them preemptively for caring about what’s likely enough money to buy a 15 year old civic more than players at some schools literally having the living standards of the homeless.
