I was riding on gravel and got going at a good clip. The handling got squirrelly so I slowed down a little. Everything was fine.

Then I went onto dirt and the traction was great, till I hit deep, loose dust on a straightaway and the bike just slipped out from under me like a cartoon character had yanked on it with a cane.

The bike is fine, but I have painful road rash.
