Ask me about Proposition 305

Is there interest in doing another run of Operation Useless Dirt t-shirts? There were some people late to the party who expressed interest in getting one and I know of at least one goon who lost theirs to a tragic laundry accident.

Now, obviously, the more shirts we order the cheaper they'll be. I ran the numbers and if we only order 11 of them the shirts will be about $16 before shipping.

Or was this a horribly timed notion and I should check back a couple months after the holiday season?

I’m in for two XL’s. My dad (Old old old school vet) was jealous of mine. So I gotta get him one too.

Is it possible to make these on higher quality shirts? The old ones weren’t bad but they were like Wal-Mart tees. Not complaining, still love mine, just a suggestion.

I know fuckall about what the t-shirt options are, but poking around the different options selecting a different quality shirt really limits the color options and jacks up the price.

Okay, so by rough talley from what you guys have provided that's about 13 or so shirts which brings overall price down to $15.17 per shirt before shipping.

I'm gonna go ahead and start the ball rolling with the goal of getting these to you guys in time for Christmas, which means I need to have hard numbers soon and payment not long after that.

Let's set the signup deadline as Monday the 18th, I'll crunch the numbers and spit out a final price at you guys.

If you're overseas I'll probably just say right now that getting these in time for Christmas probably isn't going to happen, but I'll try.

Please send number of shirts, sizes, and shipping address to:

TOO LATE FUCKER

I'll contact you about payment when all the orders are in because the number of shirts ordered impacts price.

Please include your username.

To avoid confusing me, please refer to shirt sizes by letter instead of writing it out. I'm getting multiple emails expressing numbers in sizes that can be interpreted as either asking for one large or one extra large.

s, m, l, xl, etc instead of small, medium, large, blah blah.

So. Shipping. My goal is to get these shirts to guys as cheaply but as reliably as possible and I want as much as possible to keep cost + shipping as low as I can.

Last time I did USPS flat rate boxes which cost about $8 for one shirt and $14 for multiple shirts. It's a little on the high side but it's also fairly reliable. We only had one snafu last year and that was all on a specific post office's fault.

What do you guys think?

The books are now closed, no additional orders will be accepted.

I'm gonna crunch some numbers and get back to you guys with totals. I think $6 domestic for shipping will work, I've ordered some of those sturdy mailer bags.

Internationally shipping is gonna cost a whole lot more and hopefully you understood that going in.

Those of you who made bulk orders, I'm gonna try to fit everything into medium flat rate boxes, which will run about $15. I'll let you know if that doesn't work.

I've sent everyone payment information. Thanks in advance, guys! Once I have all the money I'll place the order and with luck the box will arrive by the end of the month. Once the shirts arrive I won't waste time getting them out the door to you guys. There's a nonzero chance they'll all be in place in time for Christmas, even those of you who live overseas, but I can't promise anything.

A friendly reminder: If you use Paypal to send me money as a payment for goods, Paypal takes their cut. As was kindly pointed out to me:

quote:

Dunno if its only through the site but they changed to a friend to "without purchase protection" to try and trick people up i think. Just fyi for the other peeps

So apparently they've changed how they call it, probably to trip people up.

I won't lose sleep if it happens because it's not a very big cut, but try not to let them trick you.

Tricksy paypals.

Each shirt individually tested for quality, flavor, and filtration.

Also I didn't dare put on more than six at once before I started to worry about stretching any.

I've packaged up most of the shirts and man, I've forgotten how stressful this is.

If I screw up and send the wrong goon the wrong shirt, I haven't hosed over just the one goon. I've hosed over the goon who was supposed to have received that shirt too.

As a result I've ramped up the paranoia to 11 and I've developed a smooth process:

Check list for shirt size
Find shirt
Double check size
Compare size of shirt in hand to shirt on list
Fold shirt
Check size of shirt to make sure it hasn't changed
Check list to make sure it hasn't changed.
Check shirt again
Package shirt
Check list one more time
Write size on package
Toss package into pile
Repeat.

I'm hoping to have the shirts out by Friday, but my paranoia is making the process way more stressful than it needs to be and it's somewhat slow going because I'm but one goon in a rocking chair, folding and packaging shirts.

Did I gently caress up? Did I leave one out or order one too many? Or did they send me an extra shirt?

I don't know how to figure it out

I have shipped all packages but one. US goons, let me know if your shirt doesn't arrive by Wednesday. I have tracking numbers to rely on.

International goons, you will almost certainly not get your shirts by Wednesday. I don't have estimates for you.
