I actually enjoyed the recent Berserk anime despite it's flaws and understand that that puts me in the idiot camp and accept these responsibilities

I really really don't agree. It looked just about as cellshaded as the Movie trilogy, because it was. But you're free to disagree and tell me how wrong it is to like something.
