Heather Papps posted:it took me a long time to do, not because it was hard, but because it was very unsettling. I get completely lost in my art when I draw. I sometimes wonder how it's coming and will stop working and actually look at what I'm making but most often I'm just fussing over a single line for 20-30 minutes trying to get the curve just right and I'm not even always sure what I'm drawing. It's extremely weird to work on something then when you finally look at it go "Oh that's what I was drawing".
