I hope we have a good election that goes well, and not a bad one that goes bad. Every detail of this is glorious.

oh have we covered the split in Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath between a) the subset of independence supporters who feel like on balance one should probably not campaign for a SNP candidate that has been expelled from the party for antisemitism allegations and b) a bunch of lovely other folks including our dear friend Wings who decide everyone should vote for the dickhead regardless because they refuse to ever think about voting for a Green and he's a total transphobe so they liked him anyway so looking good for labour over there

Hmm, the tories have a point. Nobody likes all these arguments we've been having. It's impolite and ruins the mood at tea time. If only there were a strong form of government... where you never had to deal with any arguments at all... none of these saboteurs all over the place, interfering with the Will Of The People that only Boris Johnson is wise enough to determine... what a wonderful world that would be e: 38 looks a bit like some kinda bug insect if you look at it sideways

Lamont was leader of scottish labour during the 2014 independence referendum and was a constant target of his vitriol over that time, but she's also a transphobe so he's now fine voting for her against the SNP candidate who has said mean things about him and doesn't hate trans people or he would be, if he lived in Scotland, which he doesn't for some reason the state of this man. the state. the dyson airblade is not just a hand dryer. it is a combined hand dryer and wrist-moistener. do you enjoy having weird, damp wrists? have i got the product for you! also i like how they cut off after a while and you have to move your hands away and put them back in, pretending to be another person, to get more time in the dryer. how dare you question that your allotted hand drying time has not been adequate to dry your hands sufficiently. how dare you question the wisdom of the airblade

I don't think any of the top brass really know enough about it and I just hope the push is deferred to the membership in that regard because they're the only ones I think would be sufficiently clued in and radical. The top brass knowing little about it is pretty dangerous in itself, in that the terf set has a lot of experience putting their bigotry into terms that sound plausible to someone that is not paying that much attention. If they are genuinely poorly informed and not just trying to please the bigot demographic then I hope someone who is informed can find an opportunity to have a long chat with them asap.
