(pops neck) (stretches shoulders) (clears throat) (steps into mic) (takes deep breath) Georgia beat Georgia Tech by the biggest margin of victory ever in the series despite looking like utter trash for three-fourths of the game and while losing D'Andre Swift because James Coley's dumb rear end decided to call a wildcat for the first time all year so of course it ended in a fumble and an injury and also George Pickens got ejected and will miss a half against LSU because he beat the absolute piss out of a Tech DB and this team remains a disaster aesthetically but were able to cruise to a win over Tech because the talent differential is so big and to be frank I don't know if Collins will really ever close that gap but onto next week and hoo boy is LSU gonna kill this team

KKKLIP ART posted:So I genuinely think the South Carolina los is bad, but how many top 25 teams did Clemson play? Top 15? Top 10? Clemson's best win is Georgia's fourth best. (Also Clemson would kill UGA hth, but Clemson's schedule, through little fault of their own, is bad.)

Grittybeard posted:I had to look up who Clemson was playing in the ACC Championship game. UVA ranked wins since '95 FSU: 1996: #13 Texas, #6 North Carolina 1998: #25 Auburn, #20 Virginia Tech 1999: #17 BYU, #7 Georgia Tech 2001: #19 Clemson, #20 Georgia Tech 2002: #22 South Carolina, #22 NC State, #18 Maryland, #15 West Virginia 2005: #5 Florida State, #24 Georgia Tech 2007: #21 Wake Forest 2008: #18 North Carolina, #18 Georgia Tech 2010: #22 Miami 2011: #12 Georgia Tech, #23 Florida State 2014: #21 Louisville 2018: #16 Miami 2019: #24 Virginia Tech So....yeah, easily. Best wins since that FSU upset are keeping Prime Mack Brown UNC out of a big bowl and beating Joe Hamilton, and both of those were a long long time ago.

Shappa posted:I was thinking about Auburn/Alabama in terms of the last decade, in the 2010's Alabama lost 15 (i think) games total and 4 of them were to Auburn, which puts the Iron bowl at 6-4 'Bama for the decade. Auburn plays UGA and Bama every season, of course, and during Saban's time in Tuscaloosa UGA has a better record against Auburn than Bama does. Wild.
