I find it hilarious that a trick play loving knocked Alabama out of the playoffs. There's no loving way the committee can even justify including them over a 2 win conference champ. Hell, Wisconsin is 3-1 against ranked teams. Alabama's only top 25 win is against a loving "we're putting a 3-2 A&M team 24th to give Alabama a top 25 win" and it backfired wonderfully in the end :allears:

Still maybe going to the Rose Bowl

Delayed response, but it'll be either Wisconsin (if they somehow beat Ohio State) or Minnesota (head to head over Penn State with same record). Don't see how PSU has a route to Pasadena, honestly.

Also don't see Ohio State going but there's very little reason, even with a conference championship loss, for them to be denied at this point.

Let's look at the p5 champion contenders:

Wisconsin vs Ohio State:
tOSU is certainly in, even with a loss.
Wisconsin has no route in.

Clemson vs Virginia:
Clemson is probably in. Win and in, lose and may get dropped for another team.
Virginia has no route in

LSU vs Georgia
LSU is almost certainly in
Georgia is in with a win, lose and gone

Oklahoma vs Baylor
Winner is possibly in, loser stays home

Utah vs Oregon
Utah has a chance if they win
Oregon is an also ran at this point

So we can pretty much safely say LSU and tOSU are in. Clemson is going to be made the fall guy for going 12-1 on a weak schedule after what happened with Alabama last year if they don't beat Virginia.

Utah and the big 12 champ want Clemson to lose and LSU to win.

My take anyway :v:

Everything else being equal, OU probably gets in over Utah because of fanbase/ratings? Not so sure in the case of Baylor.

The committee has been very bullish regarding the pac 12 this year after years of criticism regarding that.

we already played the best 2 teams in the country and could have very easily beaten them without lovely turnovers
