less than a month ago Kamala picked up the endorsement of the dessicated corpse of the United Farm Workers, which was at one point in the past a major labor union but now has less than 5,000 members, almost all of whom are in California. it barely functions as a union anymore and is basically a glorified charity organization, sort of like British livery companies that used to be tradesman's guilds but now just hold galas or whatever. anyway, the California press tried to spin this as a 'major union endorsement' from the 'powerhouse' UFW and talked about it like it could be a turning point for her campaign
