the thing about the "LARPers" not doing anything is, if someone's leftist activism is primarily through groups like John Brown Gun Club etc, they're probably significantly better at killing people than they are at any more standard form of activism. if they're not "LARPing," they're going to be causing active shooter events, and I can't reasonably fault them for not wanting to open that particular Pandora's box until we're completely out of other options. e: just to be absolutely clear, what I am trying to get across is that if these people are sitting on their asses and just looking vaguely threatening, that's probably preferable to open civil war in the United States.
