this is a made up challenge to myself and anyone who wants to join in: during january, from first second after midnight till it ends you can ONLY DRINK WATER I mean as far as drinks go no : alcohol energy drinks coffee milk soda water soup juice coke zero I’ve excluded soda water because spending no money is one of the reasons things you are allowed : ice coz ice is literally cold water I suspect this will have many benefits : less calories coz of no alcohol no alcohol may be good for you no money on energy drinks or coffee escape caffeine addiction super smug sense of superiority over others that can’t do this not feeding into consumerism no charities other than your own health exceptions : you are dying from dysentery and need electrolytes to life, we don’t need you dying just to prove a point maybe if you live somewhere cold you can have soup but like as a meal not a cup of soap. right here it’s middle of summer who the gently caress wants soup I’m doing it. .... are you a bad enough dude??

wow this is harder than i thought. never realised how much I rely on a flavoured drink to distract myself from my own existence. so often I feel that “pull” or energy toward getting a drink or whatever. this is only during the day, the beer tug will start happening soon too hopefully these die off

you can literally use vitamin c aka ascorbic acid to neutralise chlorine in water. it’s legit, water treatment plants use it. I ordered some lab grade stuff. it’s cheap and safe and ya use like a pinch, works like magic actually wanted to sell it from work but would have needed a food making licence Agile Vector posted:does mineral water or filtered water with a mineral filter count as only water? they can be less beige without being flavorful yeah it’s all good. my personal reason for avoiding sofa water because I also wanted to avoid spending money on it

end of day 5 : so far: have realised how often I want a flavoured drink as a comfort or a distraction sleep: well of course it's better money spent : much less short term at expense of long term decisions made : much much less gfs sleep has improved heaps, largely due to not needing caffeine heaps in morning. he doesnt drink anywhere as much alcohol as me but juice sometimes and decent few coffees in the mornign
