You really have to admire the psychotic frothing ambition Hooper has to keep making bad musicals based on bizarre wrong ideas and never once falter in his terrible vision. Edit: There’s no way anything in this movie could be as weird or as bad as letting Russell Crowe ain’t Stars while standing around like an anxious penguin.

I have a PSA for you folks about whether or not CATS is the movie for you. Take a second to read the following poem:quote:The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter, If reading that poem has made you laugh hysterically, you may enjoy watching Cats in an ironic way. If, however, reading this poem about the naming of cats has made you want to see Bombalurina, Munkustrap and Coricopat all start writhing and dancing eventually leading to a giant cat orgy, congratulations, you are the exact person who should be going to see this movie, hopefully alone or with a consenting partner. Seriously i saw exactly the three minutes where this poem was recited and you get the feeling that they were going for some sort of deep spiritual moment but landed exactly where "erotic" and "has no clue how sex actually works" meet.
