I think Trubisky might be the starter for the Bears next season just for cap reasons but I think people are really overestimating the team's attachment to him. He very plainly loving sucks, his coach knows he sucks and has to neuter the offense for him, the GM built a team with the expectation he could have a contending core around a cheap talented QB on a rookie contract. There's no way they're going to delude themselves into thinking he's worth giving a long-term look
