1. Beastars - Initially I avoided this, since I generally can't seem to find CGI anime appealing, but the hype convinced me to give it a try, and I got used to the choppy feel after a few minutes (still feel like motion blur would help). Turns out it was the best show of the year by miles and miles. Fantastic music, unique atmosphere, intriguing world, wonderful voice performances. So glad it's getting another season, although maybe I should just dive straight into the manga instead. 2. Run With The Wind - Remarkable that they managed to make a 23 episode series out of a single novel, but it never felt dragged out, and beautifully covers all the running bois, with a really powerful stretch of episodes toward the end. Delightful production all around. 3. Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 - Incredibly animated fights, on top of a solid story. Not sure what more you can want. 4. Vinland Saga - Being from Iceland made this one hard to ignore, and I'm glad they put so much effort into making it. Kind of feels like the protagonist could have used some proper development, however, considering the beefy episode count. 5. Ascendance of a Bookworm - To be honest, I'm not even sure how good the anime is, but I'm such a huge fan of the original web novel that I'm just overjoyed it's bringing more attention to this amazing work, and people seem to be liking it.
