I knew nothing about the novel and went to see this based on a few friends saying it was great.

This was awesome and my wife and I had a ton of fun just talking about our favorite scenes on the car ride home.

I love everybody in this movie and it was really satisfying to see a movie with a happy ending that had some wrinkles to that happiness, not just "everything was great for everybody forever" or "everything sucked for everyone forever".
