A real Portlander now
I hit my goal of paying off 15k of debt this year.

On track to save 13% of my salary for retirement as well.

Onward to 6500 more! Then that will be half my debt!

I sold a bike and had some good fortune on the work end so I paid an extra 2,000. My credit score went up ~12pts in July.

August Starting
CC balance: $2,515 (5,000 in July) (500/m on track)
Medical debt: $1,123 (103/m on track)
Consolidation Loan: $4,247 (253/m on track)
Student Loans: $18,355 (296/m on track)

Emergency savings: $5,645 (+310)

I have increased my Roth contribution this month an extra $50/m

$7,480 of $13,100 of retirement goal for this year.

August personal goals
I am currently saving for a jacket I really really want. I'm about half way there and waiting for it to go on sale cause I know I can nab it for half off.
Sell record player
Start selling my more common records
Lower the prices of my closet on poshmark
List more items on poshmark
Sell/give away the extra house stuff I don't use.

Starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel on my high interest debt. :)

October Starting
CC balance: $1,674
Medical debt: $897
Consolidation Loan: $3800
Student Loans: $17902

Emergency savings: $5703 of $6k goal for EOY

Retirement: $11,205 of $13,100 (300/m)

Going to concentrate on the CC balance and increase my IRA to 500/m, which will end my year.
Next year will be keeping my 401k contribution at 10% of salary, attempting to max my 2020 IRA before April, the last of the consolidation loan, and maxing 2021 IRA.

My credit score is now in the lower 800s. Don't really care anymore about it.

Still need to take care of my records and record player and I have one last grouping of furniture to sell in my downsizing.

December
CC balance: $1,056. My Amex card is now shredded.
Medical debt: $691
Consolidation loan is about $3k? I need to get my account with my old credit union unlocked cause I forgot my PW. There's a lot of friction causing me to slack on this. So I'll make it my last goal for December
Student loans: $17452
Emergency savings: $5500. I need to get this back up
Retirement: $13,421 of $13,100. I'm halfway to maxing my 2020 Roth. Will end the year at about $14,500 saved.
Credit score is at 819
Sold the furniture! Records and record player are next.

Best part of this year was this. Now that I see what I can do I'm really starting to change my mindset. I also paid off 20k of debt so now I don't have that debt to siphon away my savings.
