I've not go zero qualifications although near to - I'm an accredited rep and I have an nvq level 3 in business admin so, something in this country. Definitely ring them. Some unis may have a specialist number for mature students (not always obvious on web site) so have a dig for that or phone UG admissions and ask if they have a specialist team. Personal statements are 4000 characters/ 47 lines. I used to work in admissions and would be happy to proof read if that would be helpful
