My little niece got given (by the other Aunt and Uncle) a little microphone that you can sing into and elso it can do a karaoke thing where you sing along.

Except it's only "Into the Unknown". It seems very cruel that they don't include "Let it Go"

Also

We went to Teppanyaki in Epcot and our chef did the onion volcano thing while singing "Into the Onion"

I feel like the Fox and Disney animation spheres should be kept entirely separate so this really bothers me. Also, fire the entire Simpsons staff and format their hard drives.

Looks alright I guess. Probably technologically innovative for Pixar's character animation but the plot appears to be uninspired. Like a parody of a Pixar movie.

What if an extremely antiquated model of what makes up matter had feelings?

I'd kind of like to hear the same lines done by the current Peach game voice actor. The movie has the, I guess, 'cool girl' voice? Breathy princess voice deserves it's time in the sun.

So Spider-verse...we usually watch movies in the drive-in these days, but there tends to be a lot of light pollution which makes things blurrier. It's ok for some movies, but I'm guessing it'd be a big mistake with this one?

Yeah, after hitting it out of the park with The Bad Guys and especially Puss in Boots, this seems like a disappointing step back for Dreamworks.

I think the nature of the medium makes it impossible to be iterative, because they can't wait for reviews before they start working on the next thing.

They may have even been working on it since before the others.

Considering how many other animated movies that article says he's worked on, I think he knows. I think he probably doesn't care, or thinks that it's worth it.

Considering the reviews, maybe it is worth it?

The issue becomes one of hiring enough people and proper compensation. CGI needs,.like, an international union.

Animation too.

the article says ~100 artists quit the studio. in terms of stress and overwork, those are actual human costs being paid. how many people just burn out of the industry all together because of this kind of crunch?

Are good reviews worth the mental and physical health of 100 people? Is Phil Lord worth 100 animators?

Which is why I said they should hire more people and pay them more if they want to work this way.

It must have made a lasting impression because to this day I still remember it and I don't have any credit cards, only debit.

You should have one credit card and just pay it off every month. You may need a good credit rating someday.
