Close Contests: Make your vote count! According to a crude count I made that could well be riddled with mistakes, here are the close contests in this year's gaybies. The Mass Shooting category is close between options 2 and 5, with 2 claiming nine votes and 5 claiming seven votes. The Tragedy (other) category is super close between options 3 and 4, with 4 trailing just one vote behind. The Obituary category is tied between options 5 and 2. Option 4 is trailing just two votes behind the tied score. In the "A Thing Happened" category, 26 is ahead but only has four votes. 17 has three votes as does 6. In the Worst Label category option 9 has pulled ahead but only has six votes. Option six and fourteen are both on four votes, and could pull ahead with your backing. The Worst WALL cartoon comic is tight, with option 1 claiming fourteen votes and option 3 claiming fifteen! The Most Easily Reinterpreted category is in a FIVE WAY TIE! Options 1, 8, 13, 31 and 33 all have three votes. The Most Willingly Dense category is also tied with options 6 and 38 both claiming only four votes each. Close behind are 7 and 16 claiming three votes each. The Worst Gaslighter category is also in a FIVE WAY TIE! Options 6, 14, 29, 39 and 44 all have three votes. The Overall Worst Category has option 8 pulling ahead with eight votes, but option 7 is trailing just two votes behind with six votes. The Best Edit/Parody category sees option 27 ahead with five votes, but options 26 and 16 have claimed four votes each.
