Kagetsu's last ever match in Korakuen Hall and she went out of her way to make Tam look like an absolute star. It was probably the best match of Tam's career to date. It's a must watch imho.

MOTYC: Mayu Iwatani vs. Takumi Iroha - Stardom The Way to Major League 2020 (2/8) Mayu's scheduled opponent got pulled due to sickness the night before so Stardom brought in the newly minted President and Ace of Marvelous, Takumi Iroha to wrestle in a non-title singles main event and with almost no time to prepare these two knocked it out of the loving park. Iroha showed up with the whole Marvelous roster to watch her kick the poo poo out of Mayu, too. Call me when your Harolds and your Tonys can do that. Even knowing the result I was surprised by how one sided it was. Iroha ended her. The inevitable rematch is going to be amazing

HM: Nagisa Nozaki (c) vs. Hibiki for the Regina Di WAVE - Pro Wrestling WAVE Sunday WAVE Vol. 37 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRew5mcMlok Mainly posting this because prior to watching it I would have said that Nozaki was easily the worst champion in any promotion I have at least a passing interest in and one of the worst wrestlers in the world but she really made me re-evaluate that in a match that basically boiled down to her big leaguing a rookie. Hibiki's selling of Nozaki's offence really helped out here but so did Nozaki's reactions to every time Hibiki turned things around on her or kicked out of a big move. Nozaki's sleeper holds are brutal too.

These matches are free on AbemaTV if you have a VPN or live in Japan but otherwise they should go on DDT Universe in about a week MOTYC: HARASHIMA (c) vs Shinya Aoki for the DDT Extreme Championship in a Bras & Blindfolds Deathmatch - DDT Rojo Puroresu in Saitama Super Arena (3.11) Probably the most creatively worked match I've seen since Asuka and Akito competed in a single lighttube match for the same title at last year's Peter Pan. They managed to combine genuine tension with peak physical comedy as they fumbled around the cavernous basketball court. Very reminiscent of the classic TAKA vs Taichi BOSJ match. MOTYC: Atsushi Onita, Chris Brookes, MAO & Danshoku Dino vs. Konosuke Takeshita, "Super Hardcore" Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya in an Exploding Baseball Deathmatch - (the same show) The main plot of the show revolved around Takeshita trying to rescue DDT/NOAH President Sanshiro Takagi from the clutches of Danshoku Dino after he was kidnapped by MAO and it culminated with him having to face off against his mercenaries Onita and Brookes in Onita's signature match. Absolutely chaotic nonsense with the dumbest finish you'll ever see. Eight stars. Bonus points for Shunma fulfilling a promise he made to me when I was very drunk to bring back the Joker cosplay.

HM: Baliyan Akki vs. Yasu Urano - Gatoh Move gtmv 42 (3/22) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjULi_NmI8E You can probably hear me laughing through this one. I introduced my friend to pro wrestling with this show (she knew of it through Hana Kimura in Terrace House) and I think this match made a fan for life. The galaxy brain spot halfway through where they wrestled under the mat elevated it to a classic.
