I found it to be a weird, awkward wrestling medical fetish match, and I'm not a fan of dentists to begin with. I can see why they wanted to get this on the preshow - the match was a turnoff to me.

Horrible match, with either a worked shoot injury or a real injury that resulted in a complete mess that made everybody look bad INCLUDING AEW as a promotion. Just really horrible and bad situation all around.

I'm very embarassed to admit this, but for years I thought he actually was singing himself down to the ring. Then I was watching a Dominion show with a fellow Goon. I mentioned something about Taichi's singing and he just looked at me like I was the dumbest guy alive and goes "How would his voice be coming out of the speakers? His mic isn't hooked up to anything? Wait...did you think he was really singing???" and I was so embarrassed that I was like "Oh no I know he was faking it, I was just loving with you!"
