CRIP EATIN BREAD posted:cga ruled because they picked the worst shades of the colors they did. there must have been a reason for it because they only had 2 bits per pixel in graphics mode they used one bit each for the red+green channels. then generated the blue channel automatically. the black/red/green/yellow palette has blue always 0, and the black/magenta/cyan/white palette has blue being the logical OR of red+green.
