Greetings. D&D moderation is going to be moving away from moderating positions, and getting more stringent on moderating the quality of arguments. I made a few (marked) changes to the OP to show this. The top priority now is that what you post be interesting, in good faith, and not discourage discussion on some way. Here are a few things you could consequently be punished for:
- Posting about other posters. This shifts the discussion away from the topic to another poster, which is not something with any kind of broad relevance to learn about, superstars though we may be. If you believe a poster is not acting in good faith, present the problems with their arguments in the thread, or report them, and we will take it seriously.
- Repeating a previous claim you made that was shown to have serious issues you didn't address. This is a form of bad faith.
- Being boring. This could include making the same claim over and over in the same way, particularly when you're the one bringing it up, or repeating a very common talking point we're all likely to have heard before. This is subjective, so it will be enforced fairly leniently.
