Mahomes was out for like 3-4 games because of the knee cap dislocation so their numbers are slightly diminished but yea, SF is no slouch when it comes to scoring points.

Also by DVOA the chiefs are a little worse than total points or whatever by still top 10. They have a good defense this year! Bob sutton really as a problem!

Idk if this is a troll, but Mahomes was out for a portion of the season and a lot of the games in the middle stretch he was playing hurt.

He's been pretty good this postseason.

The point is that SFs offense is really good. They arent the 2000 Ravens or something and cant score points

This. KC's offense is amazing.

This reeks of lazy media narrative, though. "SF runs the ball, so they must just grind out games! They can't score when they really need to!"

Meanwhile SF is second overall in scoring.

Heck yeah the TB Bucs tied for 3rd despite Winston throwing a ton of picks.

Winston for MVP, by far the most gunslingiest qb in the league.

I really want the Bucs to sign/draft Cole McDonald from Hawaii to back up Winston. That way if Jameis goes down they don't have to change their offense at all.

I haven't heard anything about the Niners offense being bad, the narrative that popped up immediately is that the Niners defense is phenomenal and that Chiefs O vs Niners D with a lot of points all around is what people want to see.

Which only reinforces my point: a great offense vs a great defense (that also has a great offense). Looks more and more like the Chiefs get stomped.

lol no, but it is likely to be a very high scoring game, probably decided by the team that makes the most mistakes.

I have a completely groundless gut instinct that it'll be like 2011 Saints-Niners where it'll be kinda ground-it-out for a while and then both teams score two touchdowns in the last four minutes out of nowhere

I think it absolutely has to be embarrassing avatars and text voted on by fellow TFF posters that we commit to using for an entire year. Something like "Ask me about being sexually awakened when I saw my grandmother's knees". Plus a six hour probation from Athanatos with an absolutely heinous reason like "admitted to hating dogs".
