walk in to round on a 68 yo patient and she's lying there in a big old panthers shirt told her I was a panthers fan too and she just lit up. told me she was sick to death of the patriots because their fans were fake, they weren't classy and they were cheaters. Said she couldn't wait for brady and brees to retire. when i asked why she became a panthers fan, she said she was pissed off the oilers went to nashville. "no one goes to the games. the benches are empty!" so she decided to cheer for Carolina instead. Said she likes Mahomes and wants Reid to win a super bowl. So I bought her an account and I have a new grandma

The big thing Mahomes reminds me of is those strong stick-handling hockey players like Sydney Crosby or Patrick Kane, just holding holding holding & not being knocked down until something opens up & then a perfect pass/shot. Also Mahomes being able to make throws with any arm angle is nuts. The closest rooting interest I got is the 49'ers for my relatives in CA but Mahomes is on another level.

We've all seen what happens when a top offense and top defense meet in the Super Bowl. I genuinely expect a repeat of the Niners Packers game. Unless special teams does something crazy the Chiefs will be slowly strangled.

I'm not comparing the Chiefs to the 2019 Packers, I'm comparing them to the 2013 Broncos, 2007 Patriots, etc. The Packers are not a top offense. The Niners defense is real and the Niners offense is extremely competent at what the Chiefs defense is bad at. I brought up the NFC Championship game because I expect similar overall scores and game flow. The Chiefs are definitely better than the Packers and Mahomes is better than current Rodgers. It's still going down like Super Bowl 48.

The Chiefs defense's biggest weakness was against the run, and they just held Derrick Henry and the Titans to 85 yards on 23 carries. I really don't think Mostert is breaking for 150+ again.

I get the same feeling as Chiche, but Mahomes is a better passer than PFM (which is insane), and easily as good of a scrambler as Wilson. Also, the team speed of KC's offensive weapons is like nothing we've seen before. I don't know that KC's defense has an answer for the 9ers ground game and Kittle, however. A 9ers victory seems inevitable, but football is glorious bc it's single elimination.
