Probably no one here remembers the awful, Twilight-esque film, Beastly, but did you know it got an even worse video game adaptation? My friend bought a copy of the game of eBay after he made a bunch of us watch the movie on drunken/awful movie night. Apparently the game doesn't even have the same ending as the film.

lmao just went down a cool rabbit hole. found this ad for bermuda triangle

and wondered if anybody has a scan of the 100k Secret Manuscript. of course the atariage forums tackled the same question in a few threads, until i found this gem.

graywest, July 10, 2007 posted:

Bermuda Triangle IS a pretty fun game, in my opinion. I know a lot of people hate it, though. The thing is, it gets wicked hard once you get to 10,000 pts. I'd be surprised if anyone scored 100,000 to win the "secret manuscript", much less 500,000. My highest score is in the 20,000 point range.

Ok, I just checked Twin Galaxies - Todd Rogers has the highest score on Bermuda Triangle, with over 1.7 million (in 2003). The second place score is only 17,200. Quite a difference. (Although maybe I should tape myself? I could take that second place spot!) Anyway, I'd imagine that no one scored close to 100k/500k in the early eighties when the contest was held...

the ultimate motherfucker strikes again.
