I feel like I saw this movie when DVD was first getting big. My memory was that it was entirely shot from security camera footage in a convenience story during a robbery-turned-hostage situation. The gimmick with it was that it used the "angle" button on the DVD remote to swap between cameras, so you could only follow certain plot lines (as they intersected, like an FMV game).

My memory says it was called "Real Time" but that's not coming up with anything.
