Sorry if this isn't the right place to share but; Tracy Smothers was a regular at our local UK Indy about 15yrs ago. He was ALWAYS shilling merch, constantly. Anyway, one time my husband met me outside the Women's bathroom and said "I got caught by Tracy, but it's actually something quite cool, a signed Stone Cold mug, for £3" I was like "There's no possible way that's a genuine autograph" and he laughed and said "Oh no, it's real" so he showed me and I swear, it was on display in our house for ten years until the builders broke it; A genuine WWF Stone Cold Steve Austin mug, inscribed in black marker: "To [Me] and [Husband] Best Wishes, Tracy Smothers xxx" I still don't know....

i've enjoyed all of the stories about the departed. it's nice to see the joy, bewilderment, and excitement brought into our lives by many of these performers. even in a thread built for the expectation of mourning and sorrow, positive feelings can bloom in our hearts.

Tracy legit wrestling a bear as a 20-year-old greenhorn and actually taking the bear to the mat because he didn't know the deal yet is my favorite Tracy story.

MCW wrestler and head trainer The Bruiser died yesterday after battling leukemia. He's not by any stretch a big name, but he trained Lio Rush and Velveteen Dream among many others. https://twitter.com/MCWWrestling/status/1328335050560114688?s=20

Of all the non-wrestlers who came in to do guest shots for WCW, Greene was probably the best. He got it better than anyone else in the ring and IIRC was a pretty decent promo.

Somewhat certain it was the RAW celebrating Jim Ross in 2009 (when Hodge was 77 years old) that Hodge entered the ring by vaulting over the top rope.

Hodge was the gentleman who wrecked his car in a pond/lake, which broke his neck. Hodge broke out the window with one hand while holding his broken neck up with the other. Just read also that as an amateur, not only was he undefeated but no one took him down from the standing position.

To know he was suffering from something that serious and apparently fatal but was still able to perform at the level he did is totally gutting. Reminds me of Chadwick Boseman in that way. RIP Brodie.
