There's someone on Steam called GameMaker and it has a semi-WYSIWYG interface that benefits from knowing how to program. All I did was fail Algebra 1, barely pass remedial algebra, barely pass algebra 2 and get a perfect grade in a single Visual Basic and C++ class. There's probably Lynda tutorials or something. It's really tedious probably especially if you're all alone. It took me like 2 hours to make the walking sprite and Marx and like 8 hours fussing around to be able to stand on a platform and have Marx knock me away every time I tried to talk to him which is like entry level poo poo, though I did do a Lynda tutorial for making a BreakOut clone that helped a little. So it's like everything worth doing where you start off tripping over your shoelaces for hundreds of hours.
