Wasn't a standout game, but the immersion was fun as hell. The interesting part of the map is the European frontline. What makes France rebel but England Imperial? The heck Tanzania.

Russia has a fun thing going back to the Cold War of actively identifying with the bad guys in western media. Part of that is obviously a reaction to always being portrayed as the baddies in US schlock except for when Osama briefly claimed that title for Muslims, but also prolly only country higher than Britain on the « we’re still relevant, notice us » psychosis
