AradoBalanga posted:Agreed. Itsuki is riding the "Shonen Protagonist Levels of Dumb" train like it's an Olympic sport. And as if some higher power smelled an opportunity, Chris Patton (who voiced the extraordinarily dense Sosuke Sagara of Full Metal Panic! fame) was cast as Itsuki for Fire Emblem Heroes. The difference being that while there were many logical reasons Sousuke was socially thick, Itsuki appears to be an anime-type brick wall for the sole purpose of stymieing Tsubasa's romantic pursuits. Trap sprung, of course.

Shei-kun posted:Also, Eleanor casually dunking hard on Itsuki was amazing To be fair to Itsuki for even a moment, it'd be completely understandable for him to not know how to act on stage. Being able to take direction is a skill you have to build up, like it or not. It goes beyond knowing how to play a role, no matter how good you are at it. And some people are way worse at the task than others, to a frankly astounding degree. And it's not just stage work that taking direction applies to; basically every acting job from VA work to the musical arts requires this skill that no one really has from the beginning.
