So the idea is basically, figure out what the average points given up in the season are (22.8), and teams record when that happens league wide (win 25.7% of the time when you give up that many points, win 74.3% when giving up less), then compare that to each team's record (he was doing it by QB, but I'm lazy.)

To pick a random team:

Steelers went 8-8, they went 1-5 when giving up 23+ points, and 7-3 when giving up less:

(1+5) * 25.7% + (7+3) * 74.3% = 8.972 Expected wins

8 actual wins - 8.972 expected wins = -.972 Wins
