Rick Wilson, George Conway, and horse guy make me madder than probably anyone on twitter. If I could wish them into the cornfield I would in a second. why won't they just go the gently caress away with their tepid lib "I hate trump but won't support anything that addresses the material concerns that brought us to this point" and why do I have to see their stupid loving poo poo all over my tl. Not even dunking on them is funny, they're just the horrific howling black void of space,

Are photos allowed during the caucus? Would be funny to see olds and retirees piling up in droves for Biden/Pete while the state’s entire youth vote is on the sanders side. Just for contrast.

I'm not defending Wilson by any stretch, but he's an anti-trumper which is a step above a never-trumper (who would vote for Trump over Sanders)

Whatever he does in a voting booth is essentially meaningless, but this kind of garbage is lovely and frustrating. The anti-Trump wing of the Republican party is desperate to act as if Democrats owe them a compromise so that they can feel good about voting against their own monster.

It does worry me a bit that Sanders' most reliable supporters are the age groups that traditionally don't turn out to vote in large enough numbers.

Caucusing is also a pain in the rear end and a time sink vs traditional voting where you can be in and out in under five minutes if there's no line. I'm tentatively hopeful the youth energy surrounding Bernie is legit and will drum up a lot of turnout, but I'm also trying not to fall into the UK thread trap where everybody hyped themselves up that the polls were all wrong and biased because they didn't account for the underlying leftist energy, only for it to turn out that no, the polls were dead on and the olds are bending us over yet again with their last dying gasps.

The paradox of low-paying jobs being more onerous and restrictive than higher paying jobs where you can put in maybe few hours of work per week and just find ways to kill boredom for the rest of your workday is pretty universally felt by me and my friends. It's so laughable and obvious that I can't believe there's still the myth of the deserving wealthy person.

If we're talking what really changed us, for me it was Charlottesville. So a more recent event than most of you but I also think I'm a little younger. From Charlottesville on I stopped browsing 4chan, cut ties with most friends I met from there and dropped a lot of words from my vocabulary. Edit: And my fiance, she's changed me for the better in every way but simply lmao at her for settling
