It's pretty common for polls to be a few days old at release. For whatever reason a couple have been released really late recently.

Wonder what the cause is. Pollsters holding them because they think they are outliers? Terms with their clients to give them more exclusivity?

They can't. Iowa had four years to put this poo poo together. There are three weeks left to get an app and train everyone how to use it before Nevada.

They should just have their people call in to HQ and put the results in a spreadsheet.

To get a secured system with auditing capabilities might take too long. For something just for a campaigns internal use? That is easily doable in two weeks. That's what makes this so darkly amusing.

How is the counting done anyway? Does each site count or are the paper ballots shipped to a central location first, do people work through the night, how many volunteers would you expect to be there counting and so on?

Not sure if it was posted, but 538's revised prediction is out post-debate. Bernie sank down from (iirc) 49% to win a majority of delegates to 43%.

Calling it post debate seems a bit odd. As far as I can tell none of the included polls include results from after the debate ?

More parties is actually a terrible idea and can cause a majority opinion to be overruled
I hope people are assuming a preferential voting system when they call for more parties.
