I think part of it was also that Hitman 2016 was published by Square Enix, but they dropped the series and IO, and then they self-published the second one, and I dunno how the money works in those sales, but that could be a reason.

I don't think Escape is completely awful. It's definitely the weakest in the series, but there's enough it does well. And like was said before, if you're playing the rest of the series, which you should, you might as well play that one.

It's actually queuing up your actions behind the scenes kinda like what you could do in KOTOR and sometimes it makes the game feel a mite sluggish as it catches up.

I think I’m partially afraid of having my rose-tinted memories disappointed.
