Did they ever get around to the promised performance improvements or is this going to run like dogshit on my i5-8350U/Intel UHD 620?

Took a chance on it and on my Intel i5-8350U w/ integrated graphics (UHD 620) I get 60+fps at 1920x1080 on low-ish settings. Game is a blast so far, even though I suck at it.
