Been playing this game alongside Hades and I've got to say, where Hades nails it with melee combat, this game really hammers in how satisfying it's gunplay can be. I never thought something like Counter-Strike or Planetside 2 could be properly conveyed in 2D, but goddamn, the devs really did it here, up to and including shooting over a dork's shield to headshot them. That the weapons and items are so unique in themselves is a real blast as well.
